Position Summary
The Department of Management Information Systems in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position at the lecturer level, beginning Fall 2021.
The teaching load is eight, 3-credit classes per academic year.
The position is subject to annual renewal based on performance, and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service. Participation in service activities appropriate to the rank is expected.
Additional Requirements
Candidates must have earned their PhD in Information Systems or a related discipline by the time of the appointment.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
The successful candidate should have demonstrated an ability to teach data analytics at the undergraduate or graduate level, and should have successfully taught at least two classes in the past four years in this area. Moreover, candidates should have an interest in becoming proficient in teaching our very popular elective in Energy Informatics.
