Job Summary/Basic Function
Online Adjunct Professor position with the School of Law. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to teaching material from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule, providing detailed feedback, mentoring/challenging students to grow intellectually and spiritually, maintaining contact with students to advise on matters related to academic achievement, attendance, and behavior, and maintaining/reporting grades and attendance in accordance with university policies. Must have effective legal research and writing ability to grade students’ coursework. This position will be primarily focused on teaching courses associated with Liberty University’s Online BA in Paralegal Studies, Online Certificate Programs, and/or LUSOL’s Online Juris Masters’ programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should have a good law school academic record and experience. Applicants must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
Preferred Qualifications
Superior academic credentials; significant practice experience; experience in teaching in the online environment.
Work Hours
Estimated 5-10 hours per week per course.
