Data Coordinator

 

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for a Data Coordinator position in the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards. Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions Operations and Technology, the Data Coordinator performs a variety of duties related to the processing of Admissions documents for incoming students.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: downloading electronic transcripts and other application documents; entering application data to include paper applications and transcripts into the student information system to establish an admissions file; reviewing scanned documents; communicating with applicants to solicit documents required to complete the admissions file; preparing completed application files for counselor review; reviewing and correcting of all student data associated with the processing of daily error reports; providing exceptional customer service to all constituents including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large; and performing other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: A high school diploma and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing, and reporting information in a data processing environment is required. Experience with data processing and/or imaging in a college or university setting preferred. A successful candidate must have the ability to operate an integrated student information system; possess general knowledge of Microsoft Office software; the ability to analyze application materials for file completion; the ability to perform detailed work; and the ability to discretely handle sensitive and confidential information.
