The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure pathologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor.

Primary responsibilities will involve service and clinical teaching in Surgical pathology and can be tailored base on subspecialty interests. The University of Florida/Shands/UF Health Care affiliated institutions present a rich diversity of inpatient and outpatient clinical material. The successful applicant will contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training in accredited programs within Pathology. Scholarly study and investigation in the applicant's area of interest is encouraged.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.

The candidate should also have a track record of publication and clinical research activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP, and possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Fellowship training in general surgical pathology or a surgical pathology subspecialty is highly desirable. Previous practice experience is preferred. Expertise in ENT pathology, gastrointestinal pathology and genitourinary pathology or a combination of those areas is preferable.
