Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

Responsible for the compliant coordination of clinical research activities including registries. Collaborate closely with all members of the clinical research team, under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) to ensure that all federal/state/local and institutional requirements are followed in the department of Internal Medicine. May need to develop or have core competencies in taking vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen processing and medication distribution.

Minimum Hiring Standards

• Several years of clinical research experience required
• Advanced knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a diverse environment required

Preferred Hiring Standards

• Clinical skills training for basic care partners
• Certified Clinical Research Professionals /Certified Clinical Research Coordinator certification and experience in data collection related to health profession
• Experience in database development, REDCap, Access and SPSS .
