Sr./Associate Director of Alumni and Family Engagement

Denison is seeking an Sr./Associate Director of Alumni and Family Engagement to coordinate opportunities and services to members of the Denison family in order to broaden and deepen their relationship with the college, to increase public awareness of Denison’s mission, achievements and priorities, and to help maximize philanthropic support for institutional priorities. Direct, develop, coordinate, promote, maintain and evaluate constituent engagement strategies, focusing primarily on alumni volunteer activation and management, and alumni engagement experiences. This person will help develop and deliver professional focused programming and mentoring opportunities in partnership with the Knowlton Center. This position will also strategize and supervise regional volunteer leadership efforts and events, affinity-oriented reunions and mentoring programs, and large alumni events and virtual learning opportunities.

Minimum requirements include: Bachelor’s degree, five (5) years of professional experience in a higher education setting (alumni/parent relations, development, career center, admissions, student life), volunteer management role, or transferable work experience, demonstrated and successful experience in event planning and volunteer management, the ability to think strategically and to utilize metrics in analyzing programs and events.
