Associate Director of Admissions
Location: Boise
Division/College: College of Law

Pay Range: $50,086 per year or higher depending on education and experience

Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Admissions plays a lead role in the design and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment and admission plan that meets the College of Law's targeted enrollment goals. The Associate Director will assist in the admissions process, arrange for visits and tours of the Boise location, develop new recruiting initiatives, and advise prospective and current students. The Associate Director will create programming, resources, and strategic initiatives to recruit underrepresented student populations, including but not limited to students of color, LGBTQA students, first-generation students, and veterans. The Associate Director will be assigned other projects by the Director of Admissions, and will participate in the administrative and planning work of the College of Law Admissions Office.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Two years of experience as a practicing attorney or working in higher education.
• J.D. degree or a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in admissions in a higher education environment, preferably at a law school.
• Experience advising students in a higher education setting, preferably at a law school.
• Experience working with ACES2 admissions program or other CRM tool.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email software and centralized computer information systems.
• Experience overseeing and maintaining a budget.
• Experience with marketing and social media communication.
• Effective verbal and written communication, public relations, and organizational skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and conduct strategic planning.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
• Lifting and carrying or otherwise moving objects up to 40 lbs.
