The Department of Chemistry at Vassar College invites applications for a 3-year, renewable position at the rank of Lecturer, beginning July 1, 2021.

Position Description
We seek a broadly trained chemist with experience in developing, teaching, and administering laboratory courses. The successful candidate will teach introductory and organic chemistry laboratories, revise and develop new lab modules, coordinate activity of three technical staff members, coordinate staffing of laboratory courses, train new instructors for laboratory courses, manage student enrollment in laboratory courses, and oversee the administration of our laboratory curriculum.


How to Apply
An M.S. or Ph.D. in the chemical sciences and experience as a course instructor is required. Administrative experience is preferred.
