Training & Outreach Specialist

Consults with Trinity’s faculty, staff, and students to determine training needs and deliver solutions. Develops and delivers comprehensive awareness campaigns, technology-related learning initiatives, and training opportunities focused on ITS services and systems. Promotes IT services, communicating changes, and building a technology community by engaging with the campus.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provides in person and remote training opportunities covering topics related to ITS services and systems. Consults with campus constituents in order to gather training needs and preferences.
• Collaborates with service owners to keep content updated in the ITS Service Catalog and Knowledge Base and creates original training content, including instructions, handouts, graphics, and videos.
• Creates content for multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, website, signage, print collateral) and coordinates awareness and orientation events.
• Assists in project management and special initiatives as assigned
• Acts as an administrator for online training library systems and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Designs marketing swag, signage, graphics, and related materials
• Leads or serves division committees that focus on employee engagement, organizational health, and internal communications.
