The Department of Biology/College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a fulltime, non-tenure track Instructor. UAB is a Carnegie Level 1 research university and academic health center named the Top Young University in the U.S. in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

 

Primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to teach human anatomy laboratories, direct advanced students in preparation of prosected donor bodies, and engage in community outreach. Candidates must have a minimum M.S. degree, preferably in Anatomical Sciences, experience in classroom teaching, and be committed to undergraduate education.  Candidates with an M.S. in another biological discipline, extensive classroom experience in human anatomy and experience in cadaveric anatomy will be considered.
