The School of Music & Theater at Portland State University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Scenic/Lighting Design to begin September 16, 2021. The successful candidate will teach courses in stagecraft, scenic and lighting design, scene painting and other subjects within the successful candidate’s area of expertise at the undergraduate level. Other duties will be assigned to fulfill the School’s needs. The appointment will also entail service to the School and University, sustaining a continuous and cumulative record of creative/scholarly activities, and community outreach.
