Summary

The Department of Medicine, Section of Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatology is currently seeking an M.D./Research focused junior faculty member to join the team.

This Instructor will provide clinical services at the Harris County Health Services affiliate locations. Majority of this position's commitment will be research based focused on autoimmune and rheumatologic diseases, lupus, inflammatory arthritis.

  • Performs responsibilities in a manner that promotes quality and safe patient care and a positive patient experience.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient's electronic medical record.


Minimum Qualifications

Education Required: M.D. degree
No experience required.

Physical Risks: Potential exposures to blood borne pathogens (blood &/or other potentially infectious materials), drugs, chemicals, radiation, and physical hazards found in patient clinics, hospitals and/or laboratory work environments and in working directly with patients and other employees. Initial Blood borne Pathogens Training is required, and a Blood borne Pathogens Refresher Training must be taken annually
