Assistant Professor (Ob/Gyn Generalist)

Summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking to add at least three ABOG certified/eligible assistant professors to join our Ob/Gyn Generalist Division in support of our planned expansion to Austin, TX. Faculty candidates will be supported by a highly skilled team of MAs, nurses, and mid-level providers. New private practice offices will open in the Austin area in 2021 to provide clinical care as part of the extended Texas Children's Hospital network of sites.

Clinically outstanding Ob/Gyn providers with a record of training excellence are sought to build a successful clinical enterprise while maintaining commitment to service excellence and fostering innovative approaches to practice in collaboration with Departmental, College and Texas Children's Hospital affiliate leaders.

Applicants should have experience with the care of patients with complex obstetric, gynecologic and medical problems and diverse inpatient and ambulatory health care delivery models. Communication and organizational skills necessary to coordinate among providers in a new practice location, within the Division, and with Texas Children's Hospital partners are essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to think and practice independently, while taking advantage of current Departmental strengths.

Required: Current licensure to practice medicine from the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
