Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following position: Correspondence Specialist (Operations Assistant II) in Admissions & Merit Awards.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: printing daily admissions letters, setting up and maintaining the letters and communications track, preparing mail, processing enrollment deposits and refunds, preparing packages for mailing, assisting students with access to student portal, and general office duties.

 

Requirements: High school diploma and at least three (3) years in managing student/client records. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to type at least 50 WPM. A successful candidate must be proficient in various software packages, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Package, document Imaging, and student information systems; have the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and counselors; must possess excellent written communication, word processing, and organization skills; have the ability to read and interpret admissions documents and to perform detailed work; have the ability to manage admissions fees deposit process; and have the ability to interface between various web applications and student information system Must be skilled in managing, organizing, and disseminating a large inventory of admission decision letters on a daily basis and possess excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task in a high volume work environment. Must handle confidential matters.
