The School of Accountancy in the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applications for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting starting in the Fall 2021 semester. The School of Accountancy is separately AACSB accredited and offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting.

We are searching for a candidate that has already or provides evidence of the ability to establish a stream of high-quality research as well as become a competent educator. Candidates must possess a doctorate in Accounting or a related field (or ABD near completion) from an AACSB accredited university. Teaching in-person and/or online in undergraduate and graduate level courses in Accounting is expected. The position is open to all areas of Accounting, but special consideration will be given to those with a teaching and research focus in Financial. Professional certification, prior professional accounting experience and recent teaching experience are preferred. Candidates seeking appointment as an Associate Professor must have a strong record of teaching and research.
