Job Description
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide Campus is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Affairs, reporting to the Director of Student Affairs. The incumbent will provide student support services in guidance to the Worldwide community to include students, faculty staff and parents. The role is required to manage case files, communications, and checking overall case status.
The ideal candidate is meticulous and thorough in their work and research. Additionally, the incumbent must be self-motivated to find resolution, able to keep to the strictest levels of confidentiality, able to be unbiased and manage tasks, follow up, and skillfully navigate uncomfortable situations well. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have an unquestionable passion and commitment to our students and act as their advocate.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Education, Social Science, Conflict Resolution or related field)
- (1-3) years of work related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with varied constituencies
- Ability to exercise good judgment and effectively problem solve
- Ability to represent university in a professional manner
- Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in Higher Education
