Diversity and Title IX Coordinator providing support in the daily operations of the Offices of Institutional Diversity and Title IX.

Responsibilities for the position include the following: Perform reception and intake for faculty, staff, and students with confidential matters. Answer phone and respond to e-mails. Manage calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, and events. Reach out to departments and set up workshops. Maintain confidential files. Receive project proposals, log and maintain project database, and process invoices. Prepare letters, documents and routine correspondence. Train, supervise and manage the daily work responsibilities of student workers. Maintain social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Website). Process credit card statements, reconcile expenses and monitor budget accounts. Make travel arrangements. Compile regular and annual diversity reports. Reserve rooms, order refreshments, coordinate meetings and assist at events. Inventory, order and maintain office supplies including replacement cartridges for printers. Oversee student workers. Perform other duties as assigned.

The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Enthusiasm for working with diverse populations. Close attention to detail, excellent oral and written communications skills. Must understand the importance of confidentiality and be able to keep confidential information secure. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and work with supervisors to prioritize workload. Must be able to maintain up to date information on website. Comfortable working with constituents from all across campus (faculty staff and students) as well as the Meadville community.

Bachelor degree in a related field is preferred, with three to five years of administrative support experience or equivalent experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Datatel, social media, database management and online safety. Ability to learn additional software programs.
