Job SummaryThe Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan is looking for a Learning Designer who can work with our diverse team to bring to life course and program strategies, stories and ideas. You'll have a foundation in the science of learning and learning design. You will report to and work with the Managing Director, Office of Digital Education to create and incubate a collection of exciting, and ground-breaking digital offerings.
Responsibilities* What You'll DoFaculty Collaboration and Support
- Work with Ross faculty to create new digital courses and programs
- Work with Ross faculty to transform pre-existing courses into new digital courses
- Work with Ross faculty to author lesson plans that apply science of learning and follow Ross digital Assurance of Learning initiative
- Work with Ross faculty to transform their research into new digital assets
General
- Work with the Managing Director and Senior Learning Designer to build a digital education strategy that aligns with the strategic priorities of the school
- Work with researchers in the Office of Digital Education to create research-based curricular and co-curricular digital courses and tools
- Develop singular educational templates and digital educational content for learners around the globe
- Bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in a relevant industry
- Experience in concept ideation and delivery
- Experience in higher education environment
- Progressive experience in project management including successful launch and implementation of new projects
- Service-oriented attitude
- Commitment to teamwork
It would be great if you also had
- Master's degree in education or a related field
- Two years working experience in a discipline taught at Ross
- Experience working with faculty
