Position Summary:

This position will operate under general supervision, assisting Long-term Ecological Research (LTER) research technicians in the analysis of water chemistry data from several long-term study lakes in Dane County, WI. With instruction they will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the LTER water chemistry lab.

Knowledge 1: Must be comfortable working in a laboratory.
Knowledge 2: Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Knowledge 3: Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to work independently and in a group.
Knowledge 4: Chemistry background strongly preferred.

Work Schedule:

Incumbent will work between 12 to 20 hours per week.
