Position Summary:

This position involves coordinating a broad array of functions for several surgeons and department administration in the Department of Urology. This includes complex clinical, research, teaching, and administrative activities encompassing physicians, trainees, researchers, advanced practitioners, and administration. The position involves extensive communication with internal and external customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders as a representative of the Department, requiring strong written and verbal communication and professionalism. The successful applicant will possess strong administrative and organizational skills including efficiency, accuracy, adaptability, dependability, and resourcefulness. The position requires considerable independence in planning and implementation as well as confidentiality with protected and sensitive information.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum of 1 year in an administrative support role is required.

Required:
-Exceptional administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Must be detail oriented

Preferred:
-Medical terminology knowledge
-Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint programs
-Proficiency with Health Link (Epic) electronic medical record system
