West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek an interventional cardiologist to practice general and interventional cardiology based at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research. While this position is based at UHC, the HVI operates clinics at locations in WV, OH, PA, and MD where faculty may be asked to practice as well.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license at the time of employment. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program, general cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the time of appointment and be BE/BC.
