The Administrative Analyst provides direct administrative and analytical support to the Director and Associate Director of the Center for Black Studies Research (CBSR). Responsible for projects and assignments encompassing a broad range of topics, including a campus-wide initiative in environmental and intersectional justice, as well as managing, analyzing, and coordinating administrative aspects of similar campus-wide and UCOP initiatives, committees, special projects, and other ongoing assignments, ensuring that project components are on track and on time. The Administrative Analyst is also responsible for composing and editing professional correspondence and reports; analyzing data, correspondence, communication and reports; and preparing evaluation and other reports as needed. 

 

Requirements: Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax, style, and punctuation. Ability to maintain independent judgment; strong organization and communication skills; and a customer service focus across broad and diverse subject areas. Ability to perform complex online research, including literature reviews, to identify relevant articles and citations pertaining to academic course content and citations. Proficient knowledge of managing Zoom meetings, doodle polls, Google forms/sheets, Google calendar, Microsoft office suite. Statistical methods and methods of graph representation. Principles and practices of organization, administration and management. Technical report writing. 

 

Notes: Satisfactory criminal history background check. Mandated reporting req of Dependent Adult Abuse. 

 

Salary: $24.09 - $33.52/hr.
