Description: The William Preston Turner School of Nursing is seeking applications for a full-time non-tenure track Clinical Instructor position to begin August 15, 2021. This role will include primarily providing clinical instruction in on-campus laboratory settings.

Minimum requirements: Candidates must hold an unencumbered South Carolina Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse. The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Preference is given to those candidates with recent experience (within 5 years) in an acute or long-term care clinical setting. Preference is also given to those with experience in clinical instruction (within the last 5 years). Must be eligible to provide clinical instruction in agencies utilized by the School of Nursing. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Candidates must possess a current BLS certification

Knowledge, skills and abilities: Good communication and people skills; demonstrated skill in the use of computer technology to conduct and support administrative and teaching activities. Must be willing and able to be trained in laboratory/clinical instruction and clinical use of computers and simulators.
