Research Lab Manager - (STA006814)

Job Responsibilities: Leading, assisting and participating in various projects related to imaging innovations in Das Lab. Ability to quickly train and lead new multi-modality imaging projects. In particular ultrasound, X-ray and optical. The candidate will also help with purchase of new lab equipment, categorization. Ability to document well and present research/technical information concisely.

2) Multi modality Imaging (Ultrasound, Optical, Nuclear)

3) Instrumentation

4) High performance computing

5) Data science for Imaging

Qualifications :

Bachelors and 5 years experience

Bachelor's Degree with 5 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in either instrumentation, computational methods or a combination of both is desired. Must have an interest in contributing to innovative ideas with a goal to solve outstanding problems in medical and industrial imaging. Expertise in C/C++, Python or Matlab. Candidates with a recent PhD in Physics, Applied mathematics, Optics or Engineering are encouraged to contact Professor Mini Das (mdas@uh.edu) with a statement of interest and CV.
