Position Summary
Bay College is seeking qualified instructors to teach our well-established Nursing Assistant non-credit courses in both Escanaba and Iron Mountain, Michigan locations.

Under the supervision of the Program Director, NA instructors serve as the primary teacher for both theory and clinical training for the Nurse Aide Program.

Minimum Qualifications:
A current/active Michigan Registered Nurse license in good standing. LPN's are not eligible to apply.
A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience in the provision of long-term care facility services (federally certified CMS facility-state licensed long-term care).
Experience teaching adults or supervising nurse aides or be willing to complete an on-line Adult Learner course.

-Responsible for teaching course curriculum and for carrying out lesson plan, maintaining and reporting attendance, test scores, and competency records.
-Responsible for delivery of a quality educational experience for students.
-Ensure effective instructional delivery methods are employed.
-Ensure students are treated in a fair and equitable manner aiding our students in achieving their goals.
-Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the program's performance.
-Enforce program policies and regulatory requirements.
