Qualifications:
General Chemistry II Lab (Chem 011) supports General Chemistry II lecture and has a strong focus on chemical kinetics, equilibrium, and general approaches to problem-solving. The course emphasizes the use of safe and effective laboratory techniques, development of written skills, thorough and organized documentation in lab notebooks, and the development of qualitative and quantitative laboratory skills.
This laboratory meets remotely on Friday from 1:00 - 5:00 pm during the 2021 spring term.
Candidates must live in California, have an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant area of chemistry and should have a successful record of teaching experience in chemistry at the undergraduate level and experience with online/hybrid instruction.
