The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Boston University is inviting applications for a full-time lecturer position with a focus on Statistics, beginning 9/1/2021. This position will require teaching foundational courses in statistics, to both undergraduate and graduate students. In consultation with the Department Chair and the Director of the Statistics Program, the teaching load is six courses per academic year, three courses per semester.  Extensive experience in statistics or a related field, and a strong commitment to teaching are essential. The position will entail an initial two-year appointment, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The College of Arts and Sciences at BU also provides opportunities for promotion for full-time lecturers, as part of its effort to support and reward sustained excellence in teaching.
