Purdue University's Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for a Tenure Track Faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Cloud Computing at the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2021. The department's mission focuses primarily on teaching, scholarship through applied research, and industry/professional engagement. The position is in the area of cloud computing and Network Engineering Technology, focusing on cloud architecture, network automation, DevOps, DevSecOps, edge computing, datacenter design and deployment, with opportunities for curriculum and facilities development.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, research, and engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the computing discipline. Additional information about the department can be found at http://www.polytechnic.purdue.edu/CIT/.

The selected candidate is expected to participate in both undergraduate and graduate education assignments.

Minimum Qualifications, Ph.D. in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related disciplines by the time of appointment. (3) years of related industry or teaching experiences, preferred but not required.
