Purdue University’s Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for Tenure Track Faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor for the West Lafayette campus in the area of Cybersecurity.  

The selected candidate will be expected to develop an active research program in these areas as well as to participate in both undergraduate and graduate course delivery and development in related topics as the department builds on its long-standing cybersecurity, computer forensics, and cyberphysical security undergraduate and graduate education programs.  Additionally, the hire will be expected to participate actively in Purdue’s cybersecurity, cyber and digital forensics, cyberphysical security, information security and cyber education programs and engage across campus in related endeavors.  

A PhD Degree in cybersecurity, computer and information technology or a related field by the start of employment is required.  Responsibilities also include engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the computing discipline.  Additional information about the department can be found at http:/www.polytechnic.purdue.edu/CIT/.
