Lecturer of English, beginning August 2021. Responsibilities include five courses per semester at the undergraduate level, primarily in first-year composition. Opportunities to teach courses other than composition may be available, depending upon lecturer’s area of specialization, and upon the department’s need. While not tenure-track, the position does include the possibility of promotion to Senior Lecturer.

Minimum Requirements: MA or MFA with at least 18 graduate credit hours in English; evidence of excellence in teaching first-year writing.

Preferred: PhD (or ABD) in composition; experience teaching writing both face-to-face and hybrid or online classes.
