Lecturer in Agricultural Science (PR0135/20-21)

The Department invites applications for a Lecturer position in Agricultural Science. The appointee is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all or most of the areas below:

- Soil science;
- Urban crop production;
- Crop protection; and
- Agricultural extension.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree, preferably with teaching experience, agricultural extension knowledge and proficiency in English. Applicants with experience in running agricultural programme for farmers, urban farming technologies, and organising extension service and school education programme will be an advantage.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Those who have responded to the advertisement posted in November 2020 need not re-apply.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
