Assistant Professor of Business Analytics

The department of Business Analytics and Information Systems of the Tobin College of Business of St. John's University is inviting applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level starting in Fall 2021.

The Business Analytics department offers the following degrees: B.S. in Business Analytics, M.S. in Business Analytics, MBA concentration in Information Systems, and MBA concentration in Business Analytics. Approximately 3,000 students are enrolled in the Tobin College of Business representing 36 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and 75 foreign countries. Qualification:

A Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Systems/Industrial Engineering, or related field is required for a tenure track position. All specialization areas in Business Analytics will be considered, however, preferred areas of expertise are analytical computing, data mining, decision sciences, and advanced statistical methods. Responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, strong contribution to the university through service, as well as maintaining an active research profile. Excellence in teaching, a strong commitment to university service, and an ongoing research/publication record are essential at the Tobin College of Business for tenure and promotion.
