Assistant Professor in Healthcare Administration

The University of Houston-Clear Lake invites applicants for a tenure-track appointment in Healthcare Administration at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The selected candidate for the Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration position will join a high impact program in The Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center, whose   students have gone on to successful careers as well as to graduate study. Tenure-track faculty teach a 3/3 course load, assume service responsibilities, and produce high-quality research and/or creative work. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Healthcare Administration, or other courses to support the department as needed. Qualified applicants must possess a PhD in Healthcare Administration or related fields of study. The selected candidate will be expected to teach different Healthcare Administration undergraduate and graduate courses each semester such as quality, facility management, strategic planning, physician practice, finance, or leadership, both face-to-face and on-line. The selected candidate will have experience or expertise in one or more areas of Healthcare Administration and will have a strong research background related    to Healthcare Administration, and be willing to collaborate across disciplines within the college. Faculty may also participate in a campus-wide mentoring program responsive to our university’s key commitments as set forth in the “Impact 2025 and Beyond” Strategic Plan https://stories.uhcl.edu/strategic-plan.
