Central Community College seeks Math Instructor in Kearney, NE to teach courses as assigned that include: Applied Calculus, Occupational Math, Elementary/Intermediate/College Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, and Trigonometry courses in a variety of instructional modalities: face-to-face lecture, lecture on IP, and online delivery. The instructor will collaborate with the Dean, Associate Dean, and, as appropriate, the program director in order to assist students in accessing learning and attaining educational goals. Instructor will facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in modalities that align with concepts of Universal Design and Quality Matters. The instructor will professionally represent the college, its role and mission, including recruiting.
Requires Master's degree in mathematics or statistics OR Master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics OR Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 15 graduate credits in mathematics or statistics plus 5 years of collective relevant work experience equating to 3 graduate credits. Please note that this would be considered an equivalent to 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics OR Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 graduate credits in mathematics or statistics plus 10 years of collective relevant work experience equating to a maximum of 6 credits.
