Salisbury University, a member of the University System of Maryland, is a regionally accredited four-year comprehensive institution offering 58 distinct graduate and undergraduate programs. Located on the historic Eastern Shore, SU's beautiful campus is some 30 miles from the Atlantic beaches and 2.5 hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Primary Job Duties: Oversee all aspects of the institutional enrollment management process. The position encompasses direct oversight of Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Center for Student Achievement functions. Responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of the University’s Strategic Enrollment Plan (SEP). Assure that the SEP effectively informs the University Strategic Plan and the Student Affairs Strategic Plan. Develops and implements admissions marketing strategies, coordinates retention activities, develops and implements data driven enrollment forecasting models, develops assessment mechanisms, and collaboratively leads the university community in all aspects of enrollment growth, including serving as a liaison/resource for graduate and international admissions. The Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management is a senior member of the division of Student Affairs.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or a related field and (7) seven to (10) ten years of related experience. Significant administrative leadership in enrollment management with a career record of progressively greater responsibility is required.

A strong understanding of the synergy between Admissions and Financial Aid and its use in contemporary enrollment management models is important. Must possess exceptional analytical skills, interpersonal skills, the ability to develop and lead effective teams, strong supervisory skills, and a strong understanding of current theories and best practices in enrollment management. Successfully demonstrate a commitment to diversity and the ability to work effectively with others. This position requires a strong work ethic, willingness to meet goals and deadlines, and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.

Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PeopleSoft and Slate is preferred.

This is a full-time, exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
