Carroll College, a Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana invites applications for a full-time, tenure track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Psychology position to begin August 2021. We seek a candidate with expertise in Social/Personality, and/or Developmental Psychology.  Candidates with experience in Clinical Psychology are also welcome to apply.  Teaching opportunities may include courses in Social Psychology, Theories of Personality, Lifespan Development or Child Psychology, Research Methods, and General Psychology with additional courses determined by the candidate’s areas of expertise as well as the needs of the department.  Opportunities are available for interdisciplinary course development. Demonstrated curriculum development and teaching excellence is desired.  Preferred candidates will be able to integrate undergraduate students into their area of research.  An earned doctorate in Social/Personality Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field by fall 2021 is required.  Carroll College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field by August 2021

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching, or training, in a higher education setting.
  • Experience in program development and program assessment.
  • Research experience and publications
