Data Analytics Architect

Office of Information Technology 

Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Enterprise Applications, the Data Analytics Architect is responsible for the design, architecture development, and maintenance of data analytics across enterprise systems. This includes data integration, warehousing, business intelligence applications and processes, data visualization and advanced analytics tasks. This position will advise on data strategy and governance, maintain and update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and/or methods as well as develop and enhance the data warehouse and corresponding ETL processes. 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or a related quantitative field of study is required.  Extensive hands-on experience in architecting, designing, configuring and implementing Data Warehouse solutions.  Experience with data warehouse architecture standards, process, and methodology, with good knowledge of data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools.  Versatile and knowledgeable in SQL programming and report design.  Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.  Experience with other BI Tools such as the Microsoft BI tool stack, Power BI, Tableau, etc. is a plus.
