Instructional Designer & Online Course Coordinator
The Instructional Designer & Online Course Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to faculty across the University in online, remote and hybrid course design and professional development. This position will need to establish and maintain communications with School faculty and our online partner. Responsible for reviewing and updating the online course waterfall for course development as necessary. This position will develop and administer faculty professional development workshops for online, remote, and hybrid pedagogy and instructional tools.
Qualified candidates will have a Master's degree in instructional design from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years professional experience working in higher education as an instructional designer. Teaching experience preferred. Requires an energetic, self-starter, who takes initiative in planning and problem solving. Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, have the ability to work individually and collaboratively with others, and appropriately prioritize competing responsibilities. proficiency with multiple instructional tools and learning Management Systems required. Candidate must have the ability to develop and present professional development workshops to faculty face-to-face, as well as through a video platform.
