Position Summary:

This position will support the research programs of Dr. Josh Cisler and Dr. Zach Stowe. Dr. Cisler conducts neuroimaging research with traumatized adolescent and adult samples. Dr. Stowe conducts research using biological and clinical assessments focused on women?s mental health and associated child outcomes. Portions of their research include clinical trial methodology. The successful candidate will support these research programs in all aspects and will be part of a growing, creative, dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of assigned research studies and clinical trials, including recruitment, consenting, administration of assessments, budgeting, study conduct, monitoring, and data management and quality control.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required; preferably in social sciences, neuroscience, biological sciences or health-related field.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

-1-2 years of experience in clinical or health or social research environment preferred.
-Previous experience with research methodology desirable.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge/Skills Required:
-Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work well on a team and maintain professional interactions with patients, caregivers, hospital staff, and research staff.
-Excellent attention to detail.
-Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel.
-Must be comfortable working with both adolescent and adult trauma-exposed populations.

Knowledge/Skills Preferred:
-Experience in clinical or health or a social research environment.
-Experience in research methodology.
-Background in psychology or biological sciences
-Familiar with Redcap, Access, statistics software, perform electronic literature searchers, and use database software.
