Assistant Vice President - Enterprise Application Services

The Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Application Services will serve on the Information Technology Division leadership team to research, plan, and implement information technology (IT) goals and objectives that appropriately align with the strategic direction of the University. Provide direction and leadership for the IT Division’s Enterprise Application Services area, including oversight of operation and personnel who provide support for database administration services and administrative information systems. Provide leadership, coordination, and communication with departments across all MTSU divisions to organize information technology resources and facilitate enterprise IT projects and services, ensuring goals and deadlines are achieved. Report to and perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President for Information Technology and CIO.

Master’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, mathematics, or a related field required.

Six (6) years progressively responsible IT leadership experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading an organization focused on diverse and highly integrated enterprise application services that include four (4) years in a supervisory capacity; strong communication skills, oral and written with a proven record of excellent project management and customer service.
