Administrative Assistant II Part-Time, Social Work Program 998813

Xavier University’s College of Professional Sciences is currently seeking a part-time (18.75 hours/week) Administrative Assistant II for the Social Work Program. The primary role of this position is to provide administrative support to the chairperson and other members of the social work department specifically for the new master’s degree program in conjunction with Saint Louis University.


  • Communicate with prospective students, faculty, and graduate students in the SLU MSW@XU program
  • Communicate and coordinate with SLU faculty and staff as needed
  • Maintain faculty and student files
  • Onboard adjunct faculty
  • Course scheduling
  • Appointment and event coordination
  • Student advising
  • Budget administration
  • Update department websites
  • Other departmental duties


  • High School Degree Required; Bachelor’s Preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience required
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects
