Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Physiology Department of Biological Sciences, Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, USA. The Department of Biological Sciences at Oakland University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Physiology, to begin in the Fall, 2021. Competitive applicants must have a Ph.D. and at least three years of postdoctoral experience in a physiology relevant field and a strong record of success, exemplified by high-quality research publications. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an active research program addressing questions about fundamental physiological processes in humans or animals. Accordingly, vigorous extramural funding as well as undergraduate and graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) student mentoring are expected. The successful applicants will teach undergraduate and graduate courses consistent with the physiology position. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Laboratory space and competitive start-up funds will be provided.The review of applicants will begin on Feb 15, 2021 and will remain open until filled.
