The Division of University Relations seeks a Program Manager of Donor Engagement for the College of Arts and Humanities. This person will have primary responsibility for the development and execution of plans/processes related to fund stewardship (for 200+ funds within the college) and will assist with strategic, individually tailored stewardship plans to engage major donors. This individual will report to the Associate Director of Donor Relations.

The Program Manager will work with the appropriate academic units to ensure that scholarships, fellowships, and prizes are awarded and student acknowledgments are sent to the appropriate donors. They will also develop and implement stewardship plans for other funds (e.g., named spaces, professorships) and develop focused stewardship for special constituencies and circumstances. Further, the Program Manager will develop and implement highly individualized stewardship plans with unique and relevant touches for high-level donors, such as scholarship luncheons, keepsakes, or email updates.

The Program Manager will assist with the planning and execution of activities/events involving major donors, and provide logistical support. As such, availability during some evenings and weekends is necessary for this position. Limited travel, primarily in the College Park area, is also required for this role.

Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.):
Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience working in a philanthropic environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a deadline-oriented, self-driven environment.
Superior time management skills.
Ablility to work in teams and independently.
