Job Summary
The Fitness Center Monitor provides information and interacts successfully with students and staff entering the JCCC Fitness Center/Weight Room and on the phone. This position also requires data entry for fitness center patrons while washing and folding towels and cleaning the machines in the Fitness Center/Weight Room as well as providing COVID cleaning.
Required Qualifications
-High school graduate or equivalent
-Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, with the public and diverse community members
-Must be able to work flexible hours, split shifts, evening and weekends
-Ability to be on time
-Ability to perform physical tasks assigned
-Ability to enforce rules of the fitness center
Preferred Qualifications
-Computer and fitness center use knowledge
-Excellent customer service skills
-Previous experience working with the public and customer service
