Position Summary
Dallas College is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative leader with a proven track record of enhancing academic quality, leadership excellence, diversity, equity and inclusion, and student success in a dynamic higher education environment. The Assessment Coordinator:
Manages learning improvement processes, including learning outcomes and core objective assessment, for the institution. Collaborates with other program review, assessment, and learning improvement coordinators and specialists to execute assessment processes. Conducts trainings on academic assessment across the institution.

• Knowledge of best practices in program review and academic assessment.
• Demonstrate an ability to work closely with professional organizations.

Physical Requirements

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
• Master’s degree required
• Three (3) years of K-12 and/or higher education teaching experience
• Three (3) years of relevant work experience
• One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
• Current and valid Texas driver’s license required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manages team members focused on coordinating academic assessment processes.
• Serves as one of the primary points of contact for matters pertaining to academic assessment process activity.
• Collaborates with Associate Deans of Curriculum, Assessment, and Portfolio Management to ensure seamless support of all academic assessment processes.
• Works closely with faculty and administration on ensuring that faculty are informed about academic assessment processes.
· Supports the summarizing of findings, the writing of reports, and presenting of results to administration and other internal/external stakeholders.
• Serves on College taskforces, committees, and councils as required.
• Must complete required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
• Other duties may be assigned to this position on a regular or occasional basis to respond to needs of the institution.
