The College of Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has a postdoctoral position available in the Advanced Wireless Communication and Networking Research Lab.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless communication and networking. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in 5G/6G, cyber security, Internet of things, machine learning, wireless communications and networking. In this position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with a vast network of scientists and engineers.

Required Qualifications

- Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science

- Research experience in wireless communications and networking.

- Ability to mentor junior team members, and ensure the highest levels of laboratory safety

- Excellent communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams

-Ability to work under tight deadlines and short turnaround times

Preferred Qualifications

Research experience in 5G/6G, cyber security, Internet of things, machine learning, or related areas.
