The Division of Environmental Studies & Geology at Alfred University is seeking a visiting assistant professor for the 2021-2022 academic year. We seek candidates who would be able to teach:

  • Introductory Physical Geology
  • Structural Geology
  • Tectonics or similar upper level course
  • Another introductory geology course (e.g. Oceanography, Earthquakes and Volcanoes, Lunar Geology)
  • Other courses in their area of interest or expertise


The faculty member in this position would be expected to teach 12 credits per semester.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications are a PhD in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related field. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply.
