Senior Lecturer - Construction Engineering - (FAC001688)
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston invites applications for a Lecturer position in the newly created Construction Engineering undergraduate degree at the University of Houston at Katy. UH at Katy is a satellite campus located in Katy, Texas, 30 miles to the west of the central campus. All administration, advising, and instruction for the construction engineering program will occur at the Katy campus.
The primary responsibility will be teaching. However, in the first two years the teaching load will be offset by administrative responsibilities that will make the program operational, including; developing processes for attaining accreditation; advising students; participating in the recruitment of additional instructors; and being a spokesperson for the program.
