About the College/Department:
The Eastern Kentucky University Department of Social Work is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member for the Social Work Program. The successful candidate will bring proven ability to develop and teach online courses as well as traditional face-to-face classes. This is a 9-month position beginning August 2021.
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program was first accredited in 1977 and has shown tremendous growth. We seek a candidate who is interested in developing an innovative, student-centered program in an academic environment that values a collaborative approach that integrates social work practice, theory, and research. Such a candidate will join a faculty that teaches and engages in ongoing social work scholarship and service to the profession and community consistent with University expectations for tenure-track faculty.
