Assistant Professor of Teaching & Learning

Lander University

The Position: Teaching and Learning: Tenure-track, nine-month assistant professor position beginning in August 2021.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction, Teaching & Learning, or closely related field. Will consider ABD. Candidates should have at least 3 years appropriate public school classroom experience (grades Pre-K –6) and demonstrate potential for scholarly productivity.

Preferred Qualifications: Prefer expertise in literacy education, Montessori education, teaching diverse learners, or STEAM-related areas. Background in accreditation processes and university teaching/supervision helpful.

Faculty Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate/graduate education courses, mentor candidates in field–based settings, advise students, engage in scholarly activities, and provide service to the University and Greenwood communities.
